Our Story
Our owner, Harvey B, served in the military early in his life and entered the automotive repair business when he left the military. He has been in the industry for over 28 years and has extensive knowledge and experience in the field. When Harvey is not working, he enjoys hiking, drinking coffee, and spending time with his grandson.
After running small repair shops, he dipped into the consulting and dealership world. It opened many brilliant opportunities for Harvey, including his training at NADA Academy. Eventually, Harvey wanted to pursue opening a shop of his own in his hometown. His goal was to provide honest repair work for his local community. Harvey felt like there was a lack of customer satisfaction in the industry, despite how crucial it is for the success of a business. That is why customer satisfaction is and remains to be the driving force behind Harvey's Garage.
Over the last several years, we have expanded to a total of two locations: Norfolk, VA, and Virginia Beach, VA. We built a team that feels like family, and our workforce is dedicated to providing high-quality repair services to our customers. We promise to put your needs first, and we are proud to be known as the best little garage in Hampton Roads.
Our shop wants to give back to the community in more ways than one. We are proud to make donations to Saint Gregory Catholic Church, local shelters, local food banks, Wounded Warriorsa, and multiple private organizations supporting single mothers in need.
